A beautiful look back at Old IJsselmonde. In this photo from August 15, 1989, we look out over Benedenrijweg, with Oostdijk on the right. The color photo was taken by photographer Aad Boer and shows how this recognizable part of IJsselmonde looked more than 37 years ago. For many residents, this place will still be familiar, although quite a bit has naturally changed over the years.
Do you still recognize this place from that time? And do you know what has changed since then? Feel free to share your memories and old photos with us.
