A beautiful look back at Old IJsselmonde. In this photo from August 15, 1989, we look out over the Benedenrijweg, with the Oostdijk on the right. The color photo was taken by photographer Aad Boer and shows how this recognizable part of IJsselmonde looked over 37 years ago. For many residents, this place will still feel familiar, although much has obviously changed over the years.
Do you still recognize this place from that time? And do you know what has changed since then? Please share your memories and old photos with us.
