Saturday had finally arrived. Burendag 2026 was here. Thanks to Opzomeren and the Oranjefonds, we were able to make something wonderful of it again this year. With a delicious BBQ, we celebrated this day with our neighbors from the path and surroundings. And what lovely neighbors we have. Each and every one are all friendly people who love a party. Tom from the neighborhood council also came to eat, together with his little one and his wife. Of course, the residents had a small hug ready for the new resident, whom we also warmly welcome to our beautiful and cozy neighborhood.

Together we enjoyed the BBQ and the beautiful weather. Our neighbor Roos (of German origin) had made a genuine and delicious German potato salad. This was very well received by everyone. The theme for this year was Oktoberfest. There was even a prize for the best-dressed person. Between all the partying, attention was also asked for the Emergency Plan. At such a moment, everyone is together, and that is a good time. In short, it was another very successful Burendag that continued well after Burendag in the neighbor night.
