Saturday had finally arrived. Burendag 2026 was here. Thanks to Opzomeren and the Oranje Fund, we were able to make something wonderful of it again this year. With a delicious BBQ, we celebrated this day with our neighbors from the path and surroundings. And what lovely neighbors we have. One and all, friendly people who love a party. Tom from the neighborhood council also came to eat, along with his little one and his wife. Of course, the residents had a small hug ready for the new resident, whom we also warmly welcome to our beautiful and cozy neighborhood.

Together we thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ and the beautiful weather. Our neighbor Roos (of German descent) had made a genuine and delicious German potato salad. This was greatly appreciated by everyone. The theme for this year was Oktoberfest. There was even a prize for the best dressed person. Amid all the partying, attention was also drawn to the Emergency Plan. At such a moment, everyone is together, making it a good opportunity. In short, it was another very successful Burendag that continued long after the day itself into the neighbor night.
