SpeeltuinHillesluis was founded on July 23, 1938. The playground was redesigned in 2022 with a green, climate-adaptive, and inclusive design where hard surfaces gave way to grass, shrubs, and trees. The playground is located on the south side of the neighborhood right next to the Feyenoord Stadium. Easily accessible by public transport, there is plenty of (paid) parking available.
