More and more cats are living on the streets without proper care. Some animals are lost, abandoned, or not chipped. This causes animal suffering, nuisance, and uncontrolled reproduction in the neighborhood. With the petition ‘Cats deserve care, not the street,’ residents call for attention to an animal-friendly approach, better shelter, and enforcement of the microchip obligation. Together, work can be done towards a safe and livable neighborhood for both people and animals.
