On February 9, the municipality will start measuring the streets and thresholds of front doors in your neighborhood. The measuring will last until March 6. You don’t need to do anything. The surveyor measures at your front door and can be recognized by a work jacket and a measuring rod, but you do not need to be home.

The municipality is measuring because the ground in Bloemhof is sinking and some houses and the sewer are sinking with it. These houses do not have piles, which causes problems with the drainage of waste and rainwater.

With these measurements, the municipality investigates the current height of the houses and streets. This is necessary to accurately map the situation.
