In the Molière neighborhood, 39 new social rental homes are being built. The homes on Dumasstraat, La Fontainestraat, and De Lamartinestraat are almost entirely constructed from wood. Delivery is scheduled for November. When renting out, moving within Lombardijen is important. Therefore, part of the homes is reserved for residents from Lombardijen who leave their current home. This way, residents get the chance to find a home that better fits their situation. In this way, residents also get the opportunity to continue living in their own neighborhood, and homes become available for other housing seekers.
