A well-kept and livable neighborhood starts with a tidy garden. But not everyone has the right tools to properly maintain their garden. That is why housing association Havensteder, in collaboration with the Tenants' Platform Lombardijen, offers tenants the opportunity to borrow gardening tools for free.

How Does It Work?
Are you a tenant of Havensteder and live in Lombardijen? Then you can easily borrow gardening tools at the Tenants' Platform Lombardijen at Pirandellostraat 43. Every Tuesday and Thursday between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM you can pick up and return tools. All you need is an ID and a letter with your address details. After use, it is expected that the tools are returned clean and in good condition. If you need them longer, you can discuss this with the Tenants' Platform.

What Can You Borrow?
Available tools include both large and small gardening items, such as:

- Hedge shears
- Leaf blowers
- Lawn mowers
- Wheelbarrows
- Shovels
- Rakes
- Safety goggles
- Extension cords

With this service, garden maintenance becomes accessible to everyone in the neighborhood, making Lombardijen not only greener but also more livable.
